New Years, New Goals: Diet

Woww! It is 2012 already, I remember thinking that last year was just 2010 and I am just heading towards 2011  .... and now all of a sudden it is 2012! 

Time really files so fast.... I might really be old before I know it.

Normally, I don't really bother with making goals, because halfway thorough January, I just end up breaking them. 

But, this is one goal I am going to follow through. 

More than ever I have to loose weight... 

I am not like seriously overweight, but I am chubby. 

The reason I want to loose weight is:

1. I don't want to keep being called a fat ass by my brother, sister, and sometimes mother and father. Or be laughed at by my other family members. 

2. Cute clothes suit slim people better. 

3. I want to take pictures of myself to save my memories without being self- concious

4. I don't want to be dissapointed when I look in mirrors anymore. 

5. A slim face will make your eyes look bigger, and you will look cuter. 

I will achieve this goal! 

I will try to give you updates of how I am doing, and please keep supporting me!  ^ ^ 

Dieting is really hard for a food- lover like me.

  1. Good luck with your diet. :) Eating your vegetables before meat and rice/potatoes makes less room in your tummy for them. And even if you're hungry after eating a small amount of food just wait instead of eating until you're full because it takes time for your brain to process whether your stomach is full or not. Also, when you're eating out just eat half and save the rest for later so you can enjoy it at home too. (o ω <☆)

  3. I want to weigh that much too LOL, good luck cutie!! Honestly I have trouble losing weight, but somehow I lost 5 lbs the past few months by... sitting in my room all day which is weird O__o

  4. I want to lose weight too! =) Good luck with your diet ^ ^!! Drink plenty of water~ Exercise! Limit your portion of food each meal. :3 instead of having 3 big meals~ have like.. 5 or 6 small meals through out the day. sigh, everytime I try to diet ;__; I end up giving up QQ !

  13. Good luck, I'm sure if you try hard you can do it! I gained weight during my studying (because I just kept using brain power and that was tiring -_-;;) and to lose it, I did not snack between meals(!!), I ate slowly at meals so I would notice when I was getting full. (They say stop when you get to 70% full I think.) And I did jogging occassionally. I really recommend jogging because it makes you relax and helps you lose weight ^^
    I understand how you feel :(  I used to be really chubby and got laughed at a lot by family and friends.... >o<

  20. ahhh you look so cute already! I know how you feel though >< my advice would be to take it slow and give yourself a lot of time. it might be hard, but don't feel discouraged. it's not going to come overnight, but as long as you keep at it, there's no reason why you shouldn't see results! :) Get lots of sleep (you burn more fat when you're in a deep sleep), drink lots of cold water (helps digest, fills you up), and exercise (keeps your metabolism up and you don't want your body to start breaking down muscle). You don't want to do crazy diets, or you'll just put back on the weight. Remember, the most important thing to make this work is to make it a LIFESTYLE change :) It will help you stick to and get used to just being healthier.

    I've lost some weight recently doing the following:
    1. getting a good sleep (7-10hrs)
    2. drink much water 
    3. eat LOTS of fruits and vegetables
    4. eat less sweets
    5. do some exercise everyday - doesn't have to be gym, just go for a walk to the shops or something
    hope that helps! I know they're very cliche tips but they work very well. all the best!

  28. Omg me toooo!!! My goal with is 45kg too :) Every year I make a resolution to get healthier but I get lazy and forget about it :( So far so good this year though! Let's get healthy together okay?? I believe you can do it!!   29. I don't have a goal weight but as long the fat stomach disappears then i'll be happy! lol must have eaten too much over christmas (>_<;)
    But i heard that one of the unusual ways to diet is to sleep it off....not sure if its a good idea but some japanese girls do that o_o;

  30. I used to work out a lot, like belly dancing, and yoga and stuff, but now I am busy so I can't work out as much, so I can't get rid of the bulges... TT^TT Haha, also my bones are really dense. I never broke a bone before. But mostly, I am chubby around my butt and thighs.

  38. remember to eat breakfast! cuz it is the most important, u can skip dinner but
    if u skip breakfast, thought u are success lose weight, but your face wont look good :)

My tip is to eat lots of water, hen u drink lots of water u eat less, becaus u already feel fuller 8D then gym, u just cant help it, go to gym and remember to eat lots of protein :)
